The Green Room Fall production: Opening in 3 weeks (Oct 5), all is on schedule. Discussion about how many comps to give out. One each for cast, 2 each for press, other organizations such as Ladysmith Rotary to be discussed later.
Membership: Bruce raised the fact that YPDG does not do enough to communicate with the members and the email list. Patricia Zogar offered to write a newsletter to post on YPDG website and mail to email list. Patricia moved to start a newsletter, second by Bruce carried
Playwriting Competition: Full length plays will be reviewed and winner will have play produced in the fall of 2020 plus receive a $2,000.00 prize. Armando moved to partner with Ladysmith Arts Council for this competition and they will pay half the prize money. Second by Eleanor carried
Curtains: The stage curtains need replacing and at least cleaning. Discussion as to whether this is a Cedar Hall responsibility or YPDG.
Cleaning: Bruce suggested that we set up a cleaning day once a year to thoroughly clean the green room and sage areas.
Fall 2019 Production: “The Importance of Being Ernest” directed by Gordon McInnis will run October 4,5,11,12,18,19
