Set Designer

  1. Design should start as soon as possible so that there is time for feedback and advance distribution to the director, props, set dressing and construction people.
  2. Work with the director to design a set that shows the directors view.
  3. Produce a picture and/or a model of the design for the director and crew.
  4. Attend the production meetings to make sure the cast and crew understand the design and that it meets the needs.
  5. Be available during construction of the set to answer questions from the carpenters and other crews.
