Approval of December minutes: Bruce moved, Ted second carried
Financial Report: We have approximately $16,000.00 in the bank. Discussion about clarifying the report to clearly show membership money and expenses. Expenses will be submitted to Armando and he will submit them to Kathleen for reimbursement. Patricia moved to defer full financial report , Ron second carried
Murder Mystery: “Murder is No Jive” will be the dinner theatre show on Saturday, February 9 at 6 pm. We will have food for 110 people including cast and crew. YPDG will sell 85 tickets. Discussion about the need for at least one person with a “Foodsafe” license. Moira Fox will post event on Facebook. Rebecca Burrows will make a poster.
Spring Production: “Outside Mullingar” still needs a few crew positions filled. Eleanor will post an email to the general list requesting volunteers. Needed are Front of House, Stage Manager, Sound Operator, and set builders/painters.
Ron Dale discussed his Probus group and possibly giving groups a discount. Patricia moved to give groups of 10 or more attendees $15.00 prepaid tickets. Second by Bruce Carried
Play Writing Competition: The Ladysmith Arts Council has the information on their website about the event. We need a link on our website directing people to the LSAC site. The deadline for BC entrants is August 1, 2019. The winning show will be produced by YPDG for the Fall 2020 Production.
Lighting Board and Tech: Bruce reminded us that YPDG owns a Dell laptop that can be used for the new lighting system. He will work with Erik Tully on the system.
Bruce will support tech setup and reset before and after shows.
